Even if you are rarely in the sea water, you should definitely use a Riptide motor. Especially when investing in a bow motor, longevity should be the first priority. If the normal bow motor is used in salt water, the warranty expires.

Screws and clamps are made of stainless steel, unlike the standard variant. Against this, sea air and salt water have no chance!
