Battery instructions
In our boat motor operation, we provide you with comprehensive information about the instructions according to the Battery Act to ensure environmentally friendly disposal. Batteries must not be disposed of in household waste. You are legally obliged to ensure the proper disposal of batteries and accumulators. For this purpose, you can return your old batteries free of charge to public collection points in your community or anywhere batteries are sold. You can also return used batteries, which we currently offer or have offered as new batteries in our range, to us,
greenboatsolutions GmbH
Rudower Straße 20
12557 Berlin
We will then dispose of them properly and free of charge for you. Batteries containing harmful substances are marked with a symbol consisting of a crossed-out trash can and the chemical symbol (Cd, Hg, or Pb) of the heavy metal that is decisive for the classification as hazardous.
The trash can means: Batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of in household waste.
The symbols under the trash can stand for:
Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004 percent by mass of lead
Cd = Battery contains more than 0.002 percent by mass of cadmium
Hg = Battery contains more than 0.0005 percent by mass of mercury
