What does the DASH app show?
The app displays the speed in MPH, km/h or knots, as well as the RPM and remaining battery charge both graphically and numerically, as well as volts, amps and watts. By calculating the remaining battery life in hours and nautical miles, the DASH app helps to find the most economical combination of speed and range.
Compatibility of the DASH app
The DASHmotor app from Elco turns any iOS or Android mobile device wirelessly into a fully functional dashboard. With the optional Bluetooth interface available for all 2023 outboard motors as well as the 2023 EP-6, EP-12 and EP-20 inboard motors, the free motor companion app is available on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
User interface of the DASH app
The intuitive user interface of the DASH motor app with bold, colorful graphics quickly guides the owner through the pairing with Elco motors and the calculation of battery capacity. A practical warning appears when only 20% of battery life remains. If the performance data is outside the operating parameters, the electric motor app displays warning messages and sends a report to Elco for troubleshooting with the press of a button.
