Perfect for sailboats and yachts where solar panels are to be installed directly on sails or flexible surfaces. Suitable for independent charging of onboard batteries and supplying small consumers on the go.
Information about FLINsail⁺ – Flexible solar solution for sails and boats
The FLINsail is a modular solar system that is hoisted and guided in the mast groove like a sail. With the help of the patented FLIN mast sliders, the FLINsail can be clicked into the mast groove above the mainsail. Thanks to its slide bearings, it can be optimally aligned to the sun, achieving maximum efficiency. The guide lines allow the solar modules to be aligned synchronously. The number of solar modules in the FLINsail is adapted to the energy consumption of the sailing yacht. Due to its modular design, versions with two to six solar panels are possible.
Note: The current panels are bifacial and therefore transparent modules. The appearance of the panels therefore differs from the product photos shown. The bifacial modules generate energy from both sides and are up to 20% more efficient than conventional modules.
