Application of Victron Energy Super Cycle batteries

In tests, the batteries were even left in a discharged state for 2 hours and were not damaged. Other batteries often suffer irreversible damage in the process.
The AGM batteries tolerate high charge and discharge rates. The reason for this is a low internal resistance.
Deep discharge up to 100% possible. Absolute top value in the industry. With this, even 300 cycles are possible. At 60% DoD even 700 cycles and at 40% rather 1,000 cycles.
We recommend Super Cycle batteries for frequent discharge of 60-80% or occasional discharge of 100%.
Technique: Additives in the electrolyte reduce sulphation during deep discharge and thus ensure the high land life.

Comfort of the Super Cycle batteries from Victron

Very durable. 12 years life with proper use and a temperature of 20 °C.
Even smaller and lighter! The batteries are thanks to the chemical composition.
Low self-discharge rate at less than 2% per month and 20°C. The higher the temperature, the higher the discharge.
The batteries can be stored for a long period of time without being charged in between.

Safety of VLRA technology

In tests, the batteries were discharged daily to 10.8 V at 0.2 C and recharged only after 2 hours.
Absolutely maintenance-free and very user-friendly.
Excellent leakage safety and can therefore be used in any position.
VLRA = Valve Regulated Lead Acid. The batteries release any gas produced in the event of overcharging or cell failure via a valve.
