Application of the 24V 100Ah battery from Victron

Unlike lead-acid batteries, lithium batteries do not need to be fully charged.
The battery life increases when the cells are not fully charged.
Higher energy efficiency compared to AGM battery.
The lithium battery has advantages due to a wider range of operating temperatures.
The batteries can be connected in parallel up to 5 pieces and four 12 V batteries or two 24 V batteries can be connected in series.
The lithium batteries can be operated autonomously with the help of solar cells.

Safety of the Victron Energy Smart 24V 100Ah

An internal switch disconnects the batteries in case of deep discharge, overcharge or too high temperature.
Bluetooth monitoring: Cell voltage, temperature, alarm status can be monitored via Bluetooth.
Circuit: The nominal voltage of a single cell is 3.2 V. A battery with 25.6 V consists of 8 cells connected in series.
The batteries must only be used in an upright position.
Lithium iron phosphate is the safest form of conventional lithium batteries.
