The special feature of Hy.G is that all parts of the motor and the entire production are made in France. This of course makes the production process more complex and costly, but it also allows Hy.G to guarantee high quality.
Another special feature is the extremely lightweight of the motors. This cannot be emphasized enough, but being able to easily and flexibly carry a 6 kW motor around opens up completely new possibilities for some boats and situations.

Hy.G pods and outboard motors
The French company Hy.Generation offers electric boat motors with a power range from 6 kW to 30 kW. The existing products are constantly being further developed and new variants are regularly added.
The development of the special motors began in 2018 and the first prototype was officially confirmed in 2020. Since then, many projects have been implemented and new models have always been developed - most recently an upgrade to 14 kW and soon 30 kW will also be added.

Hy.G offers plug & play versions that fit the motor as well as individually assembled battery packs.
Rarely do you see such well-configured batteries on the market - everything has been thought of, from the circuit breaker to a fuse, to the integrated Victron shunt for reading out via Bluetooth.
The integrated shunt also enables integration into existing displays with NMEA 2000 (Digital Yacht Adapter) or into a Victron Cerbo GX.
