The Mitek motors offer excellent acceleration and speed thanks to a high and constant torque, even at very low speeds. Like all electric motors, Mitek drives offer a pleasant and vibration-free driving experience.

Compared to some other manufacturers, the motor itself is not in the water. The water resistance is lower and the engine is also well suited for light planing boats. All motors of course have an integrated water cooling system that cools the motor and electronics in the housing.

Mitek uses innovative brushless synchronous electric motors (PMSM) with over 90% efficiency. feature. Thanks to their light weight and compact size, Mitek motors are perfect for any boat.

Mitek uses the classic Parsun motor housings and can guarantee quick availability. If the housing, propeller or tiller have problems, there are spare parts available worldwide. The aluminum housings have excellent corrosion protection in any environment (fresh and salt water).

Due to the built-in gearbox, the Mitek motors are not quite as quiet as direct drive electric motors. The Mitek motors cause audible noise, but it is not louder than manufacturers with a similar approach. Compared to an internal combustion engine, the Mitek motors are many times quieter.

The Mitek outboards are available with short / normal shaft for inflatable and motor boats or with long shaft for sailboats. The motors are universally usable with any batteries. We always recommend long-life and affordable LiFePO4 batteries for maximum safety on board.

The larger motors can also be optionally connected to SIMRAD touch displays. A safety emergency stop switch is integrated on the motor. The motors have integrated overvoltage, overcurrent and temperature protection. When the battery level is low, the motor gives acoustic signals. The larger outboards have an integrated electrical trim for optimal immersion depth.

The Mitek outboards are equipped with an LCD display on the motor housing. On the display you always have the battery status in view. Each motor can be connected to an optional Mitek app.

For the use of the app, a small box must be installed in the motor housing. This can be easily added when ordering. You can then download the app to your smartphone or tablet. In the app you can also see the battery status, speed in knots, RPM, temperature and much more.

The GPS function can save routes, display them on the map and the location can even be shared with friends. The app can be used in day or night mode. Readability is possible during the day in high brightness and also at night without being dazzled.
