Bow thruster box 3.0

The Bow Thruster Box 3.0 is a powerful electric bow thruster system with 48 V operating voltage and 3.0 kW power. Despite its compact design, it delivers a static thrust of 25 kgf and is ideal for small to medium-sized boats where precise maneuverability and high reliability are required.

Thanks to the IP68 protection class, the motor is completely waterproof and suitable for use in saltwater. The integrated motor control ensures reliable and efficient regulation of the drive.

A special advantage of the Bow Thruster Box is its maintenance-friendly design. The motor can be easily removed from the box if necessary, without having to lift the boat out of the water – provided the lid of the box is above the waterline. This simplifies maintenance work and reduces downtime. The box is also available in various materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, HDPE, or glass fiber reinforced plastic, offering maximum flexibility for different boat types.

A bow thruster – in German, Bugstrahlruder – is a transverse thruster located at the front of a boat. It generates lateral thrust and allows the bow (the front of the boat) to be moved precisely to the left or right. This is especially helpful when:
