The Bow Thruster Tunnel Set 22.0 – 96V from Rim Drive Technology is a particularly powerful electric bow thruster system with 96V operating voltage and 22.0 kW power. With a static thrust of 265 kgf, the system is ideal for large boats, yachts, and professional maritime applications where maximum control and reliable performance are required.
Thanks to the integrated tunnel construction, efficient water flow is achieved, significantly improving maneuverability even in strong winds or currents. The tunnel with a diameter of 323.9 mm ensures stable integration into the ship's hull and optimally protects the drive under demanding conditions.

The IP68 protection class makes the motor completely waterproof and saltwater-resistant. The integrated motor control ensures precise and efficient regulation of the drive, while the robust stainless steel construction provides long service life and high durability.

Our standard bow thruster is the quietest in its class. Thanks to its compact design, it can be installed further forward in the bow, which allows for better control – especially in wind or current.

This electric bow motor can also be used as a stern thruster. It is designed for continuous operation and does not require wear-prone components such as shaft seals or gaskets.
