Scope of delivery of the Terrova 80 WR DSC
Scope of delivery: E-motor, Weedless Wedge propeller, wireless remote (WR) control (waterproof), heading sensor for GPS anchor, German manual. A foot pedal and a sonar transducer are included.
The 80 lbs bow motor still includes all top features such as Spot-Lock GPS anchor, AutoPilot, and precise control via smartphone (Minn Kota app).

For the motors, carbon brushes need to be replaced from time to time. However, experience has shown that this only happens very rarely.

Correct shaft length for bow motors
152 cm shaft length is suitable for normal height sideboards. Measure the distance from the upper edge of the bow to the waterline and add 50 cm. If the distance is 95 cm (+50 cm), you are in the perfect range. For higher distances there are also still shaft lengths with 183 cm or more.
.Batteries for the Terrova 80 WR DSC
We mainly recommend the lithium batteries from Ultimatron or Forster Batteries. The best price is offered by the 24 V 100 Ah version from Ultimatron with Bluetooth and app. From Forster Batteries, we usually use the 24 V 50 Ah model with Bluetooth + app. The lightweight 24V Rebelcell battery cases are also excellent choices.
Basically, AGM batteries are also compatible with the Terrova WR DSC. AGM batteries are significantly heavier and not as easy to handle. However, the battery level can be displayed directly on the bow motor. This does not work with lithium batteries due to the voltage.
Minn Kota, Hummingbird and Co.
Depending on your requirements and budget, you will find Minn Kota either a good model for beginners, or a premium model with integrated autopilot, sonar, as well as GPS and Bluetooth. The basic quality features are completely covered by the bank.
