4.3 kW outboard - technology

Flow-optimized drive housing with minimal resistance and optimal flow conditions at the motor and propeller.
The motor is trimmable and foldable. In addition, the motor automatically disengages in case of grounding. Additionally, the motor can be bolted for theft protection.
Aquamot offers numerous protective functions. Electronic protection against overcurrent, anti-theft protection, deep discharge protection, overvoltage protection, undervoltage protection and reverse polarity protection. Mechanical breaking point in case of grounding.
An optional tiller extension is available as an accessory.
Low immersion depth possible thanks to an optional anti-cavitation plate.
The propeller of the Trend series is included in the price.
100% maintenance-free. All Aquamot motors are brushless three-phase asynchronous motors.

Range of electric boat motors

Travel time and range depend on the boat and the battery. In an example with the Trend 4.3 with 4 Aquamot ALS batteries 12 V and 260 Ah, we have the following measurements:

At full load, the electric motor lasts about 2.25 hours.
At half load, the travel time increases to 5.5 hours with the same package.
If you plan longer and more comfortable trips on the water, you can even go much further with less power. At partial load, this combination achieves around 10 hours of travel time. And that with just one battery charge.
