Range of Elco EP-30
Travel time and range depend on the battery. In an example with a 600 kg heavy boat and a 10 kWh battery, we have the following measurements:
✓ Under full load, the battery lasts just under 45 minutes and the boat reached a speed of 20 km/h. The range was 15 km.
✓ At 1/4 power (3,000W), the enjoyment lasts for a 3.5-hour trip on the water with a cruising speed of 12 km/h and a range of 42 km.
✓ Those planning longer and more leisurely trips on the water can go significantly further with less power. At 1/10 of the power (1,000W), a speed of 7 km/h was achieved for 10 hours. In total, a range of 70 km with just one battery charge.

Features of the Elco outboard motors
The DASHmotor app from Elco wirelessly transforms any iOS or Android mobile device into a fully functional dashboard. With the optional Bluetooth interface, the free app is available in the Apple Store or Google Play Store.
The app displays speed in MPH, km/h, or knots, as well as RPM and remaining battery charge both graphically and numerically, along with volts, amps, and watts. By calculating the remaining battery life in hours and nautical miles, the DASH app helps find the most economical combination of speed and range.
The intuitive user interface of the DASH motor app, with bold, colorful graphics, quickly guides the owner through pairing with Elco motors and calculating battery capacity. A handy warning appears when only 20% of battery life remains. If the performance data falls outside operational parameters, the electric motor app displays warning indicators and sends a report to Elco for troubleshooting with the push of a button.
