The motor is completely waterproof - but not suitable for diving.

The 450 watt motor easily powers boats up to 2.5m in length, naturally including 2 people. For sailboats, the TEMO 450 is suitable for up to approximately 500 kg displacement.

During forward motion, the thrust can reach up to 26 lbs. When moving backwards, slightly less thrust can be expected due to the propeller.

Thanks to the optimized efficiency, the TEMO 450 can propel boats up to a current of 3 knots (~6 km/h).

The low weight is mainly due to the small integrated battery. In our opinion, the TEMO 450 is very suitable for tender boats with limited space and no high demands on range.
Technical features of the TEMO 450 Carbon

The tunnel around the propeller largely protects against weeds and fishing lines.

The immersion depth is variable. Depending on the water depth and the ground, the construction can be adjusted in height. This allows the tender to drive directly onto the beach.

The telescopic construction can be extended between 130 cm and 170 cm. This allows the TEMO 450 to be used for boats of any size.

The attachment works with the help of a simple dowel at the back of the boat. No complicated attachment or installation is required.

All maneuvers can be easily done with one hand or even just your fingers. The AMBIDEXTRE handle provides a good feeling in the hand.

Range of the TEMO 450 Carbon
The TEMO 450 has an integrated, very lightweight lithium-ion battery. The battery has a capacity of 290 Wh. With an input power of 450W, the motor thus has a runtime at maximum speed of 40 minutes. At half load (225W), it is 1 hour and 20 minutes. At 100W, you can still cruise around for a good 3 hours with the TEMO 450 Carbon.
The charger is also included in the scope of delivery. The charger can be used with any standard 230V socket. When the battery is empty, the charging time is approximately 3.5 hours.
The manufacturer TEMO from France
TEMO has been developing electric propulsion solutions for the sports and outdoor industry for several years. TEMO's goal is to replace the classic and bulky outboard motor. The TEMO 450 is particularly suitable for dinghies. The TEMO 1000, on the other hand, is more suitable for slightly heavier cabin and sailing boats.
TEMO is characterized by a unique motor design with an integrated battery. The light weight of the motors is certainly the most striking feature. It is a truly pleasantly portable solution at a technically flawless level.
Control of the TEMO 450 Carbon
In our experience, the control of the TEMO 450 is surprisingly intuitive. The lever is significantly larger, and when steering, you move the entire motor behind the boat. A conventional outboard is a bit more sensitive, as the motor is closer to the boat. However, especially for children on board, this actually makes things a bit easier.
