The Cruise 12.0 is, in contrast to the Travel 1103 not completely silent. The transmission produces a slight whistling sound. The engine is nevertheless considerably quieter than combustion engines.

Range from Cruise 12.0 outboard
Travel time and range depend on the boat and battery. In an example with the Cruise 12.0 and 2x of the Power 48-5000 battery we have the following readings for motorboats and sailing boats up to 6 tons:
- If you are planning longer and more leisurely tours on the water, you can even get a lot further with less power. At 1/4 of the power, a speed of 7.8 km/h (4.2 knots) was reached for 6 hours. This gives a total range of 60 km (32 nautical miles). And all this with just one battery charge.
Information on the Cruise 12.0 R outboard
For operation, a supply of at least one lithium battery (Power 48/5000) or lead batteries (lead gel or AGM) must be provided. The Power 48/5000 has 44.4 V, 5000 Wh and a weight of 74 kg. Others can also be connected in parallel.
In displacement mode, the required power increases exponentially. If you want to double your speed, you need eight times the power. At the same time, you can increase the range enormously on your excursion if you reduce the speed a little.
The charger for the Torqeedo Cruise 12.0
The matching charger Power 48-5000 has a charging current of 13 A and is waterproof according to IP 65. The charger charges the Power 48-5000 from 0 to 100% in max. 10 hours. In addition, up to three chargers can be connected simultaneously.
