The Cruise 3.0 is in contrast to the Travel 1103 not completely silent. The gearbox produces a slight whistling sound. The engine is nevertheless significantly quieter than combustion engines.

Range of the Cruise 3.0
Travel time and range depend on the boat and battery. In an example with the Cruise 3.0 and the Power 24-3500 battery, we have the following readings for motor boats and sailing boats up to 1.5 tons:
- If you plan longer and more comfortable tours on the water, you will even get a lot further with less power. At 1/4 of the power, a speed of 5 km/h (2.7 knots) was reached for 8 hours. All in all a range of 40 km (21 nautical miles). And that with only one battery charge.
Information on the range of the Torqeedo Cruise 3.0 T
For operation, a supply of at least one lithium battery (Power 26-104) or lead batteries (lead gel or AGM) must be provided. The Power 24/3500 has 26 V, 2,500 Wh and a weight of 25 kg. Others can also be connected in parallel.
In displacement mode, the required power increases exponentially. If you want to double your speed, you need eight times the power. At the same time, you can increase the range enormously during your excursion if you reduce the speed a little.
The charger for the Cruise 3.0
The matching charger Power 24-3500 has a charging current of 10 A and is waterproof according to IP 65. The charger charges the Power 24-3500 from 0 to 100% in max. 14 hours and Power 26-104 from 0 to 100% in max. 11 hours.
Alternatively, a quick charger only takes just under two hours but is not so gentle on the longevity of the batteries.

The Cruise 3.0 motors from the manufacturer Torqeedo
Torqeedo is German manufacturer and market leader in the field of electric boat drives. The idea for Torqeedo was born on Lake Starnberg due to bans on combustion engines. Boat motors with electric drives, on the other hand, can be used without any worries.
At Torqeedo, special emphasis is placed on simple handling and safety. Electromobility on the water is also ideally suited for beginners to boating. The motors and batteries convince with high efficiency as well as technical refinements such as the integrated onboard system.
