MPower is a Polish manufacturer of electric boat motors from Szczecin, near the German border. MPower mainly works with brushless synchronous motors.
The motors are very compact and maintenance-free, but they produce quiet but audible noises. The 10 kW outboard motor is the cheapest in its power class! It is optimized for small and medium-sized boats and boat rentals.
MPower technology
The MPower product range includes outboard and inboard engines as well as applications with hydrogen and fuel cells. For the outboard engines, the housing comes from Yamaha, which keeps purchase prices low and maintenance simple.
MPower also supplies batteries, suitable chargers and the control unit (PDU). This controller is the centerpiece of the entire drive system and ensures smooth operation and perfectly coordinated speeds.
The scope of delivery also includes a display and a throttle, all based on CAN communication.
Batteries from MPower
MPower relies on the lithium batteries of the Polish manufacturer Byotta. Byotta develops battery systems tailored to customer requirements - in this case with 48V or 96V and with CAN-BUS interface.
There are various battery options. Either several small batteries for an individual arrangement and weight distribution or one (or more) large batteries for boats where weight is not an issue and there is enough space available.
