Batteries for the VETUS E-Line drives
For the VETUS boat engines, we recommend lightweight, safe, and durable lithium batteries (LiFePo4). AGM batteries are also fundamentally possible, but they make the system significantly heavier, more complex to install, and not as durable.
The 22kW motor draws up to 580 A under full load. This should definitely be considered when selecting the battery. The batteries from Ultimatron offer by far the best price-performance ratio on the market. We recommend three batteries with 100, 150, or 200 Ah each. Depending on the desired driving time, we would be happy to put together a suitable complete system for you.
Accessories for the VETUS E-Line 22 kW
The VETUS drive system can be composed of any number of components from VETUS. Drive and control are essential for functionality. Depending on the battery and monitoring, a VETUS display can also be used. The power supply via a generator or solar panels can also be integrated.
VETUS has patented several protective functions for your motors. This includes the motor controller, which ensures the monitoring of the battery charge level. All important information can then be displayed on the monitoring panel. There is also an LED display and even acoustic signals.

The screw must be matched to the motor (power, torque, speed) and the boat (length, width, hull shape). In the case of a conversion, the propeller may need to be replaced. We always recommend having this checked by a professional. A calculation by us is also possible upon request!
