6 kW outboard motor - Technology

Flow-optimized drive housing with minimal resistance and optimal flow conditions at the motor and propeller.
The motor is trimmable and tiltable. Additionally, the motor automatically disengages upon contact with the ground. The motor can also be bolted for theft protection.
The propeller of the Trend series is included in the price.
100% maintenance-free. All Aquamot motors are brushless three-phase asynchronous motors.
Aquamot offers numerous protection features. Electronic protection against overcurrent, anti-theft protection, deep discharge, overvoltage, undervoltage, and reverse polarity protection. Mechanical predetermined breaking point in case of ground contact.
Unmatched overall efficiency according to the manufacturer.
An optional tiller extension is available in the accessories.
Low immersion depth possible thanks to an optional anti-cavitation plate.

Range of electric boat motors

Travel time and range depend on the boat and the battery. In an example with the Trend 6 and a 48V 100Ah battery, we recorded the following measurements:

At full load, the battery lasts about 40 minutes.
At half load, the travel time with the same setup already increases to 1.3 hours.
If you are planning longer and more leisurely trips on the water, you can go significantly further with less power. At 1 kW partial load, this combination achieves around 5 hours of travel time. And that's with just one battery charge.
